Charlotte Apprentice Talks Woman-to-Woman at Career Fair

Here’s a big shout-out to Charlotte carpenter apprentice Viviana Cole for spending her Saturday recently helping recruit new members! Viviana joined Charlotte Training Coordinator David Dye at the "Momma I Don't Want to Go to College" Skills and Trade Expo career event. Viviana talked one-on-one to other women about the benefits of being a pro carpenter as a woman in the building trades. She was able to share real-world experience as an active apprentice.
"Momma I don't want to go to college" connects young adults and their families with job openings, college support, internship and apprenticeship opportunities, industry certification opportunities, on-the-job training, and career services for positions available in high demand.
Way to go, Viviana!
